Managed Deep Agents explained in 20 minutes
LangChain launches Managed Deep Agents for production-scale agent deployment infrastructure.
“I do really think that this will make it far more easy than before to build powerful agents and actually run them at scale.”
LangChain is launching Managed Deep Agents, a hosted infrastructure layer that handles the hardest parts of running AI agents in production: durable execution, fault tolerance, streaming, queuing, run cancellation, and sandboxed code execution. The offering sits on top of their open-source model-agnostic 'deep agents' harness, adding a cloud runtime so teams can go from local prototypes to serving millions of users without building their own infrastructure. This matters because production agent deployment has been a significant bottleneck, and a managed solution from a major framework vendor lowers the barrier substantially.
