At Microsoft Build, the Teams team announced the new Teams SDK (consolidating prior TypeScript/C# libraries) plus a new CLI that lets developers bring any-stack agents (Foundry, Vercel, CrewAI) onto Teams and transform them into 'teammates' with their own identity. It matters because it lowers the friction of deploying agents to Teams' 320 million daily active users, with partners like Cursor, Linear, Perplexity, Datadog, and Atlassian already building on it.
