LangChain is introducing Managed Deep Agents, a managed infrastructure layer built on top of their open-source model-agnostic 'deep agents' harness, designed to solve the hard production problems of deploying agents at scale. The offering targets gaps between local development and production: durable execution, fault tolerance, streaming, sandboxing for untrusted code, and context management. This is notable as infrastructure complexity — not model capability — is increasingly the bottleneck preventing enterprise adoption of agents.
