Microsoft Foundry + Agent 365: Microsoft Build 2026
Microsoft Foundry adds centralized tools, governance, evals, and an agent optimizer to make LangGraph agents enterprise-ready.
“Everyone is building agents, but that's not the hard part anymore. The hard part is integrating them into your business and governing them at scale.”
At Microsoft Build 2026, Microsoft demoed Foundry and Agent 365, showing how it adds centralized tools via a single MCP endpoint, PII guardrails, one-block deployment through GitHub Actions, per-session micro VMs with persistent file systems, server-side traces, auto-generated rubric evaluators, and an agent optimizer that tunes models, instructions, tool descriptions, and skills. It matters because Microsoft is positioning Foundry to solve the enterprise hard part of agents—integration, governance, and evaluation at scale—rather than agent creation itself.
