At Microsoft Build, the Agent 365 team introduced an SDK that bakes scoped identity, least-privilege access, audit trails, and data-boundary controls into agents so enterprises can deploy them without governance becoming an afterthought. It matters because security and risk concerns are the top blocker to agent adoption, with 82% of leaders planning agent deployments and 80% worried about sensitive data leaking through AI.
