Microsoft Copilot harness lets developers build multi-agent systems without managing infrastructure

Microsoft is promoting a Copilot agent harness within Microsoft Foundry that abstracts away infrastructure concerns for multi-agent development. Developers can define agents via Azure YAML files, assign skills and sub-agents, and leverage built-in tools for web fetch and file operations. The GitHub Copilot harness type is still in preview, limiting immediate production impact.
