Microsoft launches Work IQ Developer Tools as a guided Copilot plugin development lifecycle wrapper
Microsoft presented Work IQ Developer Tools at Build, a Copilot CLI plugin that wraps the Agents Toolkit to provide a guided end-to-end lifecycle for building, testing, and publishing declarative agents and plugins. The tooling integrates with agentic coding environments and supports connecting to remote MCP servers. Cross-tenant publishing via Partner Center is still in progress, limiting its reach for ISVs.
