LangChain released a LangSmith tracing plugin for Cursor that captures each agent turn as a structured trace showing model name, token usage, input/output, and nested tool calls including file reads and shell commands. The integration joins existing Claude Code and Codex versions, enabling cross-agent comparison in a single LangSmith workspace. This is a useful observability addition for developers debugging AI coding agent behavior but represents incremental tooling rather than a significant industry signal.
