Ryan Dahl's Deno company was acquired by Cloudflare after failing to gain commercial traction with its Deploy platform and other products. Node.js eroded Deno's differentiation by adopting TypeScript support, fetch, and a permissions model. This consolidation has no meaningful AI signal and is primarily a JavaScript ecosystem story.
