LangChain launched LangSmith Engine, a product that autonomously scans production agent traces, clusters recurring failures, diagnoses root causes, and drafts both tool-level and system prompt fixes — surfacing a real bug where a GTM agent emailed disqualified prospects due to an overly aggressive instruction. The fix can be merged directly from LangSmith or pulled into a coding agent via CLI. This matters because it operationalizes the 'agent evals' problem at scale, reducing the human bottleneck in production agent improvement loops.
