NVIDIA DSX Powers Gigawatt‑Scale AI Factories at Maximum Efficiency
NVIDIA DSX is a reference design for building gigawatt-scale AI factories at maximum efficiency and profitability.
“Today's AI factories over provision power by up to 40%.”
NVIDIA unveiled DSX, a full-stack reference design (DSX Sim, DSX OS, DSX Max LPS, DSX Flex) for designing, simulating, and operating gigawatt-scale AI factories that reclaim stranded power, cool at 45°C, and cooperate with the grid. With 100 gigawatts of AI factories projected before the decade's end, DSX targets the power-provisioning inefficiency (up to 40% over-provisioning) that limits GPU density and revenue. It matters because power, not chips, is increasingly the binding constraint on AI compute buildout.
