NVIDIA announced Halos SAFE, a safety assurance framework that connects real-world road testing, simulation, and fleet data in a continuous validation loop covering L2 driver assistance through L4 robotaxi systems. The framework uses NVIDIA Omniverse Neurrect for scene reconstruction, hardware-in-the-loop testing with Drive AGX Thor, and NVIDIA Cosmos for generating synthetic edge-case scenarios at scale. The Mercedes-Benz CLA, which uses NVIDIA Hyperion and Halos, achieved the highest Euro NCAP overall safety score of 2025, providing a commercial proof point for the platform.
