Microsoft Dataverse plugin: unleashing coding agents on the enterprise | OD849
Microsoft's Dataverse skills plugin lets users perform governed Dataverse operations from coding agents using plain English.
“What if your developer, your operations analyst, and your admin could all describe what they need in plain English and get it done?”
Microsoft demoed a Dataverse 'data skills' plugin that embeds in coding tools and turns plain-English business intent into governed Dataverse operations—schemas, queries, data, security, and admin tasks—without leaving the developer workflow. It auto-discovers environments from Microsoft identity and configures the MCP server from a single prompt. It matters as a step toward agent-driven enterprise data work, but it's a single-product demo rather than a broad industry signal.
