Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Browser Tool provides a fully managed cloud browser service that AI agents use to drive legacy web interfaces through secure, isolated Chromium sessions via WebSocket-based Chrome DevTools Protocol. Combined with Strands Agents, it targets enterprise RPA gaps where server-side-rendered legacy systems expose no modern APIs. This is AWS's bid to displace traditional RPA vendors like UiPath and Automation Anywhere in regulated industries with agentic automation.
