AWS announced the InvokeGuardrailChecks API for Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, letting developers apply individual safety checks at any turn in an agentic AI loop without provisioning separate guardrail resources. It operates in detect-only mode, returning numeric scores so applications can set custom thresholds and actions, addressing the distinct risk profiles at each step of multi-turn agent workflows.
