“OpenAI and Google Cloud are bringing frontier models and Codex workflows to Gemini's Model Garden, available through Google Cloud Marketplace.”— OpenAI
OpenAI and Google Cloud have struck a distribution deal that places OpenAI's frontier models and Codex workflows inside Google Cloud Marketplace via Gemini's Model Garden. This is a notable cross-competitor partnership, with OpenAI expanding cloud distribution beyond Azure to its biggest rival's infrastructure. It signals that model access and distribution are becoming platform-agnostic, reshaping how enterprises choose and consume frontier AI.
