NTS: Authenticated Time at Meta

Meta has deployed Network Time Security (NTS, RFC 8915) on its public time service, adding cryptographic authentication to NTP so clients can verify time packets were not tampered with in transit. The stateless implementation is fully open-sourced via Meta's Time library on GitHub. This is a foundational internet infrastructure improvement with no direct AI industry signal.
