Microsoft has made the unified manifest for Office Add-ins generally available across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, extending what previously only supported Outlook. Developers can now build a single app that works across all major Office apps, Teams, and Microsoft 365 Copilot from one manifest. While relevant to enterprise developers building Copilot agents or Office integrations, this is a platform tooling update rather than a core AI signal.
