The llm-anthropic plugin (v0.27) updated to support anthropic SDK v1.0, which replaces httpx with httpx2 as its HTTP client. Notably, OpenAI made the exact same library switch in their Python SDK v3.0.0 just two weeks earlier, suggesting an ecosystem-wide convergence on httpx2. Simon Willison automated the migration using Fable 5 in Claude Code, a minor but illustrative example of agentic coding for routine SDK upgrades.
