datasette-agent-edit 0.1a0
Simon Willison released datasette-agent-edit, a base plugin implementing core agentic text-editing tools for Datasette Agent.
“Agentic editing of text is a little tricky to get right.”
Simon Willison published an early alpha plugin that reimplements Claude's text-editor tool pattern (view/str_replace/insert) as a reusable base for Datasette Agent plugins. It's a niche developer-tooling release with no major industry implications, of interest mainly to those building agentic editing features.
